Alocasia Wentii Large
Subtly gorgeous Alocasia Wentii has delicate large deep green leaves, that can grow up to 30-40 cm with ruby red undersides. Commonly known as Hardy Alocasia - it will survive Irish winter outside - if it's under 8 degrees she will go to dormancy, dropping all of her leaves, but will miraculously revive in spring! That means you can bring her even to the coldest place of your house, and she'll be happy! With good care she'll grow up to be up to 1.5 m tall, which makes her a truly statement plant!
This plant comes in a pot of 19 cm and it's approx 70 cm high.
Light requirements: Medium. These plants needs bright filtered light. Never allow your Alocasia to stand in the direct sunlight as it can burn her leaves. Medium light would also be fine, but avoid dark corners.
Min light - 200 FC, Good Growth - 400 FC
Watering requirements: Medium. Try to keep the soil moist but not wet, as overwatering, especially during winter time will lead to this queen's roots rot.
Pets: Toxic to cats and dogs
