Aloe brevifolia baby
Aloe brevifolia is a short-leaved aloe (as the name implies), and is actually endangered in its natural habitat, so by adopting it and taking care of it you're actually saving the global aloe family!
Aloe brevifolia is a slow grower and only grows up to 1’ to 2’ feet in height, so you will be able to enjoy its adorable baby stage for a while.
It comes in a 5 cm pot, and is approx 10 cm tall.
Light: High. Too much hot sun can burn the leaves and give the plant a scraggly appearance, but this shouldn't be a problem in Ireland :)
Min light - 400 FC, Good growth - 800 FC
Water: Low. Aloe prefers to be watered regularly but will tolerate draught well in case you will leave it home alone for some time or forget to water. Make sure soil is completely dry before watering.
Pets: Although considered a medicinal plant for humans, they're toxic to cats and dogs.
