Hoya carnosa 'Tricolor' (Crimson Princess)
Hoyas are also known as wax plants due to their thick almost carved out of wax looking leaves. Crimson Princess has a beautiful colored variegation in the middle of the leaves with different shades of white and pink.
We recently joined the hoya obsessed crowd, and are completely in love with Crimson Princess specie - it looks like a true princess, but it's very easy care and a great starter for your hoya collection!
It comes in a hanging 14 cm pot and will be approx 30 cm high.
Light: Low-Medium. Hoya Carnosa Tricolor will only bloom if you give her lots of bright, but indirect light (think 200-300 FC min), but it will feel good in a less bright spot too!
Min light - 100 FC, Good Growth - 200 FC
Water: Low. As they're actually succulents, water rarely (until the soil fully dries out), but plenty!
Pets: Non-toxic to cats or dogs. If they eat too much of the leaves, they'll still throw up (duh!), but as the leaves are quite hardy, hoyas are unlikely to be the target of your furry friends.
