Hoyas are also known as wax plants due to their thick almost carved out of wax looking leaves. Hoya Wayetii has arrow shaped leaves that turn brown the more light it gets, and blooms with fragrant maroon flowers.
We recently joined the hoya obsessed crowd, and absolutely can't get enough of these easy care beauties!
This plant comes in a 12 cm pot and will be approx 20 cm high.
Light: Low-Medium. Hoya will only bloom if you give her lots of bright, but indirect light (think 200-300 FC min), but it will feel good in a less bright spot too!
Min light - 100 FC, Good Growth - 200 FC
Water: Low. As they're actually succulents, water rarely (until the soil fully dries out), but plenty!
Pets: Non-toxic to cats or dogs. If they eat too much of the leaves, they'll still throw up (duh!), but as the leaves are quite hardy, hoyas are unlikely to be the target of your furry friends.
