Pilea involucrata 'Moon Valley' small
Pilea Moon Valley or a Friendship Plant with its stunning textured bright green leaves with purple streaks looks much more intimidating than she actually is! She received her name as a Friendship plant due to an incredible ease of propagating (and sharing among friends) - their cuttings start rooting pretty much as soon as you cut and look at it! The gift that keeps on giving!
It comes in a 8.5 cm pot and will be approx 10 cm high.
Light: Medium. Do not expose them to direct sun, as this can burn the leaves, but also don't get them further than a couple of metres away from your brightest window. Make sure to rotate the pot regularly, as the plant will stretch toward the sun. Pilea will tolerate lower light, but she will definitely not thank you for that!
Min light - 200 FC, Good Growth - 400 FC
Water: Medium-High. Definitely a drinker. Likes often watering and will let you know she's thirsty by dramatically drooping her leaves (easy to fix!) Slight leaves drooping is always preferred to overwatering, as it's prone to root rot. Your first knuckle should be dry before you water again.
Pets: Non toxic to cats and dogs.
